One of the most beautiful places to experience the Great Smoky Mountains. The scenic loop winds through mountain views, historic buildings, open fields, and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. Give yourself plenty of time—you’ll want to stop along the way.

Foothills Parkway

For some of the best mountain views in East Tennessee, take a drive along the Foothills Parkway. It’s especially beautiful around sunrise, sunset, or anytime you need an excuse to get out and enjoy the view.
